SC43 What is the introduction to the ten commandments?

The introduction to the Ten Commandments is,
“I am the LORD your God,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of slavery.”

SC44 What does the introduction to the Ten Commandments teach us?

The introduction to the Ten Commandments teaches us that
because God
is the Lord,
and is our God
and Redeemer,
therefore we are bound to keep all his commandments.
